Simple Knits For Cherished Babies by Erika Knight $19.95
Simple Knits For Cherished Babies A knitted gift for a new baby is a time-honoured tradition. Grandparents, in particular, are always keen to offer to knit for the new addition to the family. Erika Knight, in this marvellous new take on a traditional craft, shows how to create baby knits that are both delightfully soft and luxurious, but also simple and modern in style. Her designs, in pure yarns such as merino wool, silk and cashmere, are not only marvellously soft and gentle for a new baby's delicate skin they are absolutely modern in feel, while retaining as their core inspiration the best of baby's classic knits - bootees, bonnets, cot blankets and cardigans - but with a modern edge. The stitches she uses are quick and simple to knit, but highly textural in feel. Even a complete novice can master most of the patterns in the book, and the simplest will take only an evening or at most a weekend to knit. In a carefully chosen colour range of art-shade pastels and neutrals that have a long-lasting appeal, these knits are the heirlooms of the future. Any parent will want to knit them, own them and keep them for future siblings or as mementoes for the future.

Simple Knits For Little Cherubs by Erika Knight $19.95
Simple Knits For Little Cherubs From cuddly toys to snuggly sweaters, every one of these knits, meant just for two to six year olds, is easy enough for total beginners to complete successfully! More than that, they're so beautiful that they're destined to become future family heirlooms. All the items use wonderfully soft, natural yarns that make the clothes comfortable and extremely wearable; there are no scratchy necklines, tight sleeves, or itchy collars to irritate a tot's tender skin. Detailed illustrations show basic stitch techniques, along with alternative motifs and colors. Make an adorable classic cardigan, with a ribbed cuff that fits snug to the child's wrist, and a sweet Scotty dog stitched on the pocket. The little patchwork doll's blanket, with its colorful squares, will delight little girls. Knitters will want to make all 18 projects, including a short-sleeved jersey, pinafore, striped muffler, and mittens with strings attached.

The Design Source Book of Home Decor by Judith Sangold $15.95
The Design Source Book of Home Decor This is a great book, full of fun afghan projects and pillows too. We have made almost every project in the book - and we have seen some unbelieveable color combinations! The ESG throw is great - it is a sampler afghan and uses 1 ball of manos for each square. It is no easy task to pick the colors! The afghan on the cover also comes out great - it is a little more challenging - but very fun to make. There are also a few crochet patterns in here.
