This new yarn from Rowan makes great lightweight sweaters that are knit on reasonably sized needles. Although the yarn is very thin - it looks great knit up a little loosely - gicing your sweater a beautiful wispy, ethereal look. Koigu is a beautiful, hand-dyed merino wool. The color palate that the yarn comes in is tremendous. It was hard for us to choose which ones to carry - but we think we did a pretty good job! The yarn is great for socks when knit with a single strand --however, we of course prefer to double and use a #9 needle to make all sorts of things - hats, scarves, sweaters...you name it - we've made it!
