"Not Your Standard Issue Sweatshirt" - page 99
The following finishing directions were omitted:
Make i-cord: An i-cord is basically just a knitted tube. You will need 2 double pointed needles or a circular needle in a size close to that which you used to knit sweatshirt. To make: cast on 3 stitches. Knit each stitch. Slide these stitches back to the other end of the needle. You will be taking the yarn from behind the stitches. Knit the 3 stitches again. This seems weird, but it is correct. Slide the stitches back to the other end of the needle. Repeat this process until cord is desired length or approx 40".
Attach cord onto hood: Fold seed stitch edge of hood over cord and sew down.
Make 2 tassels and attach to ends of i-cord (about.com may have nice tassel instructions).
Fold hood in half and sew down the back of it. Then attach hood to body of the sweater by sewing it in around the back of the neck and about half way down the V.
If you want slits, when sewing side seams, just sew down to where seed stitch begins.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO SHAPING THE ARMHOLE
The line under 4 should read:
Repeat rows 3 & 4 1 (1, 2) more times
"Hole in One" - page 138
Clarification: the hole is small. It is just a simple buttonhole. The scarf will fit through the hole and the hole will stretch with wear. Simply follow the instructions for the one row where we say to make hole. The next row is a purl row. Purl from the back. This will happen almost automatically so do not think about it too much. If you don't purl it this way the hole will completely close.
"Easy, Breezy, Beautiful" - page 145
Typo: When you are knitting the front - it should read: Shape Neck: Bind off center 4 stitches. Working each side of neck separately, at each neck edge, decrease 1 stitch every other row 6 times.
"Winter Poncho" - Page 147
With #19 needle and 1 strand of each color yarn, cast on 2 stitches. Increase 1 stitch at each edge every row until you have 72 stitches. Then begin decreasing 1 stitch at the beginning only of each row 22 times until 50 stitches remain. Then decrease 1 stitch at each end of every row 18 times until 14 stitches remain.
