We were shopping at Barneys a few years ago and saw a sweater similar to this one for sale in the Baby department. We loved it and thought it would be a great sweater to copy. We chose some fun, funky colors and decided that cotton chenille would be a soft, baby friendly material to use. THIS PATTERN CAN BE FOUND IN THE YARN GIRLS' GUIDE TO KID KNITS.

You've knit hats, sweaters, and scarves. Time for a new project? How about knitting a stuffed animal! It is the perfect gift for your little. And the best thing about it, kids can't outgrow it. To knit this project we used 2 skeins of the main color and 1 of the contrasting color. The pattern is from Knitted Toys by Zoe Mellor. It is sold at Theyarnco.com for 19.99

The first pillow with the square inside the squares is a fun pillow from the Vogue Knitting on the Go Pillow book. We used Zara to make it. The pattern calls for a linen stitch. This stitch makes the stitches tight together so that a pillow will not show through the knitted fabric. It also gives the pillow a nice texture. You just need one ball of each color. The pillow is a little on the advanced side because you need to use bobbins.
The second pillow is the one that has four squares. It is knit in the Alpaca using a double strand of yarn. We used shades of grey and brown but you could certainly use bolder colors. Again, you just need 1 ball of each color.
