This cardigan is a great fall sweater. Knit in the new Torino Bulky which is 100% Merino Wool so it is lightweight but will keep the little ones warm. For a 4-5 year old size it takes 8 for the body and 1 for the collar and one for the button band. Click on the picture to see the girl's version.

We adapted this scarf from a Mac and Me pattern that we loved. We just wanted it to knit quicker so we used two strands of yarn instead of one. The ruffle border adds a bit of sophistication to a simple garter scarf.
