This is the bigger kids version of our Koigu Hooded Cardigan. We loved it so much, we needed to size it up. The Koigu is great yarn that is hand-dyed in lots of fabulous colors. It takes 9 skeins for a 4 year old size.

This cardigan is a great fall sweater. Knit in the new Torino Bulky which is 100% Merino Wool so it is lightweight but will keep the little ones warm. For a 4-5 year old size it takes 8 for the body and 1 for the collar and one for the button band. Click on the picture to see the girl's version.

We re knit this great chunky raglan pattern in a new color. It looks hard but really it could not be more simple! One row is all knit, the other K1,P1! The pattern is from an old Vogue magazine.
