We were shopping at Barneys a few years ago and saw a sweater similar to this one for sale in the Baby department. We loved it and thought it would be a great sweater to copy. This skirt will be loved by any little girl. It has a simple lace edging and the rest is knit in stockinette. We knit it in Lace Merino but Koigu can be used as well. 1 skein in Lace Merino is enough up to a 3 year size.

Jordana loved knitting this skirt so much the first time using the Barefoot Knits Pattern Book, she knit it again using a different yarn. She used 3 balls of yarn for a 2 year size. She also changed the pattern slightly, adding a hole for an icord instead of using elastic at the waist.
